This is quickly becoming our biggest selling Home Automation product and it's easy to see why.
There is some great usable technology here meaning that your house automatically locks/unlocks when you leave/arrive home and you can set codes remotely which is a must have for an Airbnb or holiday rental.
What is it exactly?
We provide a quality Yale lock with Electronic Keypad. It fits straight in to where a standard front door lock would be so there's no major changes required.
The lock can be controlled via the keypad on the front or linked to your phone to automatically lock when you leave home or unlock as you arrive home.
How does it work?
The lock is linked via "Z Wave" to a controller that we install in your home and link to your Wifi network.
We can program what is called "Geo Fencing" in to this so when your phone comes within a certain distance of your house (generally once it catches the Wifi network) the door will automatically open. It can do the same in reverse.
Because it is connected to Wifi you can program it to open from anywhere in the world. This means you can set up specific codes for different people or let someone in if they show up at your door with just the push of a button on your phone.

You'd think this technology would be fairly expensive but we've set a price of $1500 including GST for a standard install. We're keen to get this technology out there as much as possible and believe smart home tech should not be over priced.
This price includes
- Quality Yale lock with digital keypad
- Control unit to link to wifi (can be used for other smart devices such as cameras, lighting etc)
- Instructions on how to install and manage from a phone app
- Installation to standard door with ceiling access for wiring
- An old school key in case of any unforeseen technical issues
You can add on a camera for your front door which links to the same system for $650
